And God Created the WomanJanuary 27, 2014
So I might as well start by saying, yes, *inhale*, this is the third eyeshadow palette to feature on the blog this month, and yes, I do have an addiction *exhale*. Confession over, lets move on swiftly...
The Nars And God Created the Woman palette is one of those limited edition items that you don't really realise how much you want until it's gone (seemingly forever). After missing out on owning one for myself the first time round, when I heard it had been re-released online (link), I certainly didn't hesitate in ordering one. Housed in the usual sleek and compact Nars packaging, and accompanied by a handy brush and mini pro-prime smudge proof eyeshadow base (my favorite primer of them all), this palette was definitely worth the wait. The neutral offering is obviously right up my street and the formulation of Nars eyeshadow is one of my favorites. Though, as much as I love every shadow in the palette, I've found myself using the top three shades on a much more regular basis compared to the bottom three, which I've been reserving for smokey eye attempts. The top right hand shadow in particular, Kalahari, has been getting the most use of late as it's the perfect one wash wonder shade. Just a quick swipe of this over the lids with a Mac 217, and your done and dusted in seconds.
As much as ownership of the And God Created the Woman palette has filled a small void, I can't declare my addiction fulfilled quite yet as there's a beautiful, 15 shadow holding NARSissist eyeshadow palette on the horizon that has my heart beating and my purse weeping.
Are you a fan of Nars eyeshadow?
