♡ Bourjois Cream Blush
May 24, 2013
I've never been a massive fan of cream blush, but after falling in love with Stila's Convertible Colour in Gerbera I've been dying to get my hands on more. The release of Bourjois' cream blush arrived in Boots at just the right time, leaving me walking home with not just one, but two of these little pots in order to satisfy my cravings.
There are 4 shades available in the collection, two peach toned and two pink, all of which are pretty natural and flattering. The cream to powder formula is also lovely and easy to work with (using either fingers or a brush), for a really natural finish. They blend into the skin easily and also deliver good pigmentation. The wear time could be improved slightly (by the end of the day I found the colour had faded quite a bit) but for only £7.99 each the quality is really impressive and definitely worth trying. After all, as the pots are so small and light, it's easy to touch up during the day.

I've been feeling tempted to try cream blushes for ages, after hearing about the NYX ones on Essie Button's videos, but so far have been afraid as I'm not that good at appying blush in the general sense. But this post has made me want to go for it. Tomorrow I'm going to Westfield in Stratford, so I'll check out some and see what I decide.

Wow, the blushes look amazing! I don't try cream blushes that often, but the Nude Velvet shade looks incredible. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for the comment sweet, and you have such a lovely little blog! I'm fairly rubbish when it comes to make up and just have a fairly standard flat powdered one, but think I might opt for the creamy one next time!
